What is Murralla?

Murralla — also known as morralla — is natural emerald material sourced from Colombian emerald mines. Unlike traditional faceted emerald gemstones, murralla stones contain natural inclusions and mineral patterns formed during the emerald’s growth. These organic characteristics make each stone unique, with deep jungle-green tones and subtle variations that reflect Colombia’s rich geological landscape.

Rather than being cut into traditional gemstones, these emerald fragments are polished into smooth stones that highlight their raw beauty and natural color.
